Frontline Contract Services Ltd
Frontline was formed as a security services provision exercise
in 1999. Originally providing door supervisors to Cornwall and
the South West of England. Working within the leisure security
marketplace and providing a premium level professional service
quickly found Frontline being drawn into the wider based field
of event security, taking the companies field of operation to
a nationwide level. Operating with and on behalf of a number of
the event security industries leading operators, Frontline have
since then provided staff to the UK’s premier events including
Royal Ascot, F1 Grand Prix, Glastonbury, The Grand National and
World Super Bikes to name but a few. Frontline continued its rapid
growth and has moved into further Security provision sectors such
as Close Protection, Retail, Static, Mobile and Car Park Management.
Since 2001, Frontline has managed a number of facilities based
contracts throughout the UK, providing security and general services
to a vast array of situations. For example, we provide the security
and site management to the Sunbury Cross Park and Shop shopping
centre site, which encompasses a number of high street stores,
a multi storey car park complex, two blocks of flats and the headquarters
of Chubb’s Fire and Alarm Section. We have won contracts
for the provision of Security (static, mobile and CCTV) to sites
that have fallen into receivership, or undergoing recovery programmes.
We provide to some of the major national Supermarket chains as
well as a number of Councils at County, Borough and Parish levels,
providing a range of services including Outcall Officer Safety
Cover, static and mobile security, vehicle parking management,
CCTV systems and monitoring. We enjoy very good relations with
many Police Forces, in whose areas we operate, and have recently
found a number of opportunities, which may see us working alongside
Her Majesty’s Prison Service.
The company ethos of best practice and quality assurance throughout
has always paid dividends; its customer feedback has always been
of the highest level and has meant that the business has been
grown through word of mouth and referral.
In the 2002, Frontline has created its own training arm, Frontline
Training Solutions. Providing Nationally accredited training for
the security and other industry sectors. Operating from it purpose
built Training centre in Newquay, Cornwall, Frontline Training
Solutions is in an excellent position to provide a premium level
of professional training to all its course candidates. It holds
Training Centre approval and accreditation under both BTEC-Edexcel
and NCFE National awarding bodies.

Howard Gilroy-Simpson, the founder of Frontline, came originally
from an engineering and business background. He has worked in
and around the security industry for over 20 years, and in a consultative
role has overseen and managed many projects on behalf of some
major international PLC’s and government bodies as well
as smaller sized companies and groups. He has a background of
threat and risk assessment; close protection, surveillance as
well as door supervision, event, retail, static and patrol management.
He and Frontline enjoy creating a very close working relationship
with its entire client base and exercises a hands-on approach
to the management of its customer projects. Howard is a qualified
trainer for SITO (Security Industry Training Organisation) and
IPSA (International Professional Security Association) as well
as being a personal member.
